with the expertise and capabilities needed to perform physico-chemical characterisations and studies of the mineralogical composition and thermal properties of raw materials, semi-processed products, and end products of different production sectors.

This Area focuses on the study and optimisation of a wide range of sectors, in addition to the ceramic tile sector, which include those of sanitary appliances and bathtubs, tableware, roofing tiles and bricks, glass, cement, refractories, oil coke, and special construction systems like ventilated façades and raised floorings, among others.
