Developing advanced chemical processes

Application of advanced chemical separation and purification techniques to recover metals such as lithium and cobalt from discarded electronic devices for use in different applications. This research is in line with the European Strategy for Critical Raw Materials, which seeks to ensure a sustainable supply of raw materials essential for the energy and digital transition.

Specific R+D+i lines

Creating processes that enable the recovery of critical raw materials from different types of waste.

RECRIMAT

PIGMENTCAT

Development of processes aimed at recovering active material from the cathode of end-of-life batteries.

BATECAT

We generate knowledge to make it available to you

Synthesis of ceramic pigments from cathodes from lithium-ion batteries as an alternative raw material source.
