Availability of advanced and sustainable materials

We develop ceramic materials with new functionalities and improved properties, optimizing their behavior in  manufacturing. Additionally, we conduct research into characterization techniques  in order to analyze their composition,  structure and properties.

Specific R+D+i lines

Development and optimization of the compositions and processing conditions of ceramic materials aimed at minimizing defects and/or improving mechanical, thermal, aesthetic and other properties of the resulting products.

No results found.

The development of functional surfaces allows for the creation of surfaces that respond to external stimuli, providing new properties to ceramic materials such as bio-active, photocatalytic, hydrophobic or low-temperature, thus improving their performance.

Naix-em

Funker

Development of ceramic products for filtering applications, designing the appropriate porosity and pore size according to the specific application.

Cleanergy

Newman

Research into the characteristics and processing of advanced ceramic materials for applications with high mechanical and thermal requirements, etc.

Propulcer

Hidroferr

Introducing new advanced characterization techniques for inorganic and organic materials, through the development, validation and accreditation of new testing methodologies based on spectroscopic, optical, chemical, physical and structural methods, among others.

Tracemat

Study of the physical-chemical phenomena (sintering and crystallization) that take place during the heat treatment of glazes and ceramic supports, and which condition their microstructure (shape, size, distribution and quantity of pores and crystals) and, consequently, their final properties.

Kersinter

Development of new materials and inks with diverse characteristics in order to create, via advanced printing technologies, high added value surfaces with an impact on industrial sectors such as ceramics, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food, etc.
