27/10/2020.- El Chapter español de la Asociación Americana de Cerámica, con sede en la Universitat Jaume I de Castellón y más concretamente en el Instituto de Tecnología Cerámica (ITC) ha co-patrocinado el LVII Congreso de la Sociedad Española de Cerámica y Vidrio (SECV) y patrocinando uno de los 20 simposios que se han ido llevando a cabo en el transcurso de este evento que ha congregado a 100 personas de manera presencial y alrededor de 200 en modalidad on line, respetando la actual casuística derivada del COVID-19 así como todos los protocolos y medidas de seguridad necesarios.
Así, el Congreso de la SECV 2020 se ha llevado a cabo los días 26 al 29 de octubre de 2020 en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud del campus universitario de Castellón con gran afluencia de público aunque con la adopción de los protocolos marcados por la universidad.
Concretamente, el Chapter en España de la ACERS ha patrocinado el simposio: “Fabricación aditiva de materiales cerámicos”, que ha sido organizado por el Catedrático Arnaldo Moreno Berto, quien es también presidente del Chapter en España de la ACERS, con la colaboración de la Doctora Mª Pilar Gómez Tena, responsable del Área de Caracterización Físico-Estructural del Instituto de Tecnología Cerámica (ITC), experta, además, en fabricación aditiva. La ponencia destacada en este simposio ha corrido a cargo de la investigadora Cristina Fabuel, del ITC, quien ha presentado el tema: «El uso de la tecnología 3D en la promoción y restauración del patrimonio arquitectónico. Desarrollo de materiales cerámicos para la tecnología Binder Jetting».
De esta manera, la contribución del Chapter español al LVII Congreso de la Sociedad Española de Cerámica y Vidrio ha contado con una importante repercusión e impacto gracias a la organización de este simposio. https://ceramics.org/spain-chapter
The Spain Chapter of ACerS, present at the 57th Annual Congress of the Spanish Ceramic and Glass Society
27/10/2020. – The Spain Chapter of the American Ceramic Society, based at the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón, Spain and more specifically at the Instituto de Tecnología Cerámica (ITC) has been the oficial co-sponsor of the 57th Annual Congress of the the Spanish Ceramic and Glass Society (SECV) and has sponsored one of the 20 symposia that have been held in the course of this event that has brought together 100 people in person and around 200 in online mode, respecting all protocols and necessary security measures derived from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The SECV 2020 Conference was held from October 26 through 29, 2020 at the School of Health Sciences of the University Jaume I of Castellón. The attendance was significantly high and the adoption of the protocols established by the college was scrupulously respected.
Specifically, the Spain Chapter of ACerS has sponsored the symposium: «Additive manufacturing of ceramic materials», which has been organized by Arnaldo Moreno Berto, Full Professor of Chemical Engineering and also Chair of the Spain Chapter, together with Dr. María Pilar Gómez Tena, head of the Area of Physico-Structural Characterization of the Instituto de Tecnología Cerámica (ITC), also an expert in additive manufacturing. The keynote lecture in this symposium was presented by ITC researcher Cristina Fabuel, who talked about: «The use of 3D technology in the promotion and restoration of architectural heritage. Development of ceramic materials for Binder Jetting technology».
The contribution of the Spain Chapter of ACerS to the 57th Annual Congress of the the Spanish Ceramic and Glass Society has had a high impact thanks to the organization of this symposium.
