Industrial processes pilot plant

Imagine accelerating your market launches confidently and with expert technical support.

Do you know how having more efficient and sustainable processes would impact your results?

Why take a risk when you can validate your process before implementing it?

At over 600 m² dedicated to testing, our pilot plant scales up lab developments to industrial production, validating processes, preventing risks, and ensuring consistent results with advanced equipment and tech experts.

Material grinding processes

  • Dry process: From primary crushing to ultra-fine grinding, using specialized equipment such as jaw mills, pendulum mills, and fluid bed mills, to achieve particle sizes down to d90 < 2-5 microns.
  • Wet process Grinding of materials in suspension, using alumina ball mills or zirconia microballs, with final sizes of d90 < 2-3 microns.

Material drying

  • Spray drying: Homogeneous, high-flow granules obtained using equipment with evaporation capacities ranging from 5 to 30 kg of water per hour.
  • Convection drying: Analysis and optimization of drying kinetics adapted to material properties.
  • Freeze drying: Elimination of water by sublimation to preserve the molecular structure of the material.

Forming and Granulation

  • Extrusion: Preparation and shaping of products using laboratory extruders adapted to various formulations.
  • Pressing: Compaction of granulated powders in specific molds with presses up to 120 tons.
  • Granulation: Granulate production using specialized equipment such as Eirich granulators or Llodige mixers, optimizing fluidity and resistance.

Mixing and Separation

  • Dry mixing: Equipment such as Eirich intensive mixers or Llodige “plow” mixers for uniformity in formulations.
  • Wet mixing: Efficient dispersion of solids in liquids with high-capacity turbo-deaerators.
  • Solid-liquid separation: RINA filter centrifuges for clarification and separation in various media.

Suspension application processes

  • Application of suspensions on multiple substrates by spraying, injection, airbrushing, or ultrasound, ensuring precision and versatility.

Firing and thermal treatment

  • Single-layer kilns: Efficient and controlled cooking in roller kilns, ideal for validating new developments.
  • Membrane plants: Water treatment using mobile filtration with reverse osmosis microfiltration technologies, tailored to specific customer requirements.

Digital printing Inkjet

  • Custom ceramic decoration with sustainable, high-resolution digital printing technologies.
