A través del proyecto HIPOCARBÒNIC elaboramos una Hoja de Ruta específica para descarbonizar el sector cerámico de Castellón, donde se analizan diferentes escenarios que permiten la transición hacia esta economía hipocarbónica en la industria cerámica.
HIPOCARBÒNIC consists of 4 phases, of which 3 are underway: the first includes an exhaustive bibliographic review to compile a large amount of technical and economic information, necessary to know the starting point to tackle this transition.
En la 2ª fase, de trabajo de campo, actualmente se está preparando un cuestionario dirigido para las empresas del sector cerámico, con el que se pretende conocer cuál es la situación actual del sector, desde el punto de vista energético y emisiones de CO2, y cuál es su estrategia para hacer frente a los objetivos climáticos establecidos por la Comisión Europea.
In addition, this phase also includes various interviews, encounters and meetings with all the agents directly or indirectly involved in the ceramics sector.
En la 3ª fase se está llevando a cabo una prospección tecnológica en todas las etapas del proceso productivo cerámico, a fin de identificar y desarrollar las vías que permitan alcanzar la descarbonización de la industria cerámica, dado que la Comisión Europea dicta que hacia 2050 estos pasos deben haberse conseguido.
Next year, the 4th and last stage will be tackled, which will consist of the preparation of a reference document: "The low-carbon roadmap for the ceramic industry of Castellón", with which it will be possible to create a sectorial vision of the path to follow to achieve the decarbonisation objectives foreseen for 2030 and 2050, and which will describe the main conclusions and the steps to follow in this great challenge that the ceramic sector has ahead of it.
