Cities change as do their inhabitants, driven by currents of differing nature that condition their lives: sociocultural, political, and economic, as well as climate emergencies, in which we have found ceramics to provide numerous appropriate performance features. ITC is therefore engage in the design and implementation in cities of innovative ceramic products and systems aimed at adapting to climate change in the urban environment, in addition to avoiding environmental pollution as far as possible, striving to reduce the carbon footprint in cities and increasingly incorporating ceramics, e.g. as permeable flooring material in the design of ceramic urban furniture or implementing ceramics in Smart Cities
