The single name Instituto de Tecnología Cerámica (Institute of Ceramic Technology) (ITC) is adopted, coinciding with ITC's integration into Universitat Jaume I (UJI) of Castellón. Creation of the Association for the Promotion of Ceramic Industrial Design (ALICER) by the ITC design group
